Introduction
This paper quantitatively analyzes the field of gravity energy storage using publications from SCI-EXPANDED and CPCI-S databases. It examines output trends, distribution across disciplines, and major research countries and regions. Westwood Professional Services (Westwood) is pleased to present this preliminary geotechnical investigation report to Panorama Environmental, Inc. for the proposed Libra Solar Project located in Mineral County, Nevada. The scope of work for this preliminary investigation included subsurface. For applications at engineering, exploration and regional or continental geological scales, measurements of Earth's gravitational field are used to map subsurface variations in density. For geological materials, denisty ranges from nearly 0 kg/m3 (for voids or snow, dust and similar materials) to. Repeat microgravity surveys carried out using relative- and absolute-gravity meters are useful for identifying changes in subsurface mass, such as the volume of water stored in an aquifer. These surveys require careful field procedures to achieve the part-per-billion accuracy required to measure.
